RCGP - The Starting Grid - Podcast

RCGP ist der Podcast zur neuen Pro Rennserie RCGP für 1/8 Nitro Buggys, welche im Mai 2019 mit dem ersten Rennen in Manila (Philipinen) in ihre erste Saison startet. Weitere Rennen werden 2019 in Europa 2x und eines in den USA stattfinden. 2019 soll es also eine Serie mit vier Einzelveranstaltungen aber je zwei Einzelwertungen geben. Keenan White aka 'Lefty The Great' from The No Name RC Podcast wurde auch für diesen Podcast angeworben. Er gibt Einblick hinter die Kulissen der RCGP Rennserie. Regelmäßiger Gast wird auch Joseph Quagraine aka 'JQ' sein. Als Organisator und Fahren der RCGP Rennserie spricht er über aktuelle Rennereignisse und berichtet über organisatorische Themen dieser neuen Rennserie.

Well the time is here in 1 day the first ever RCGP race will take place in Manila, Philipines. Lots of hard work, time and money put in to make this happen the first ever world series of RC Racing. On this episode Joseph and Lefty do a preview of the teams and drivers entered in this historic first race and predictions for RCGP.

Joseph explains how the format will work in both RCGP and RC2 and talks about all the planning and how he is looking forward to being just another racer at this event.

This week on the Starting Grid episode #5 Lefty talks to Mau of MauGrafix and race director of the RCGP World series. Mau talks about how he started in RC, how MauGraphix came about, working with JQ, his thoughts on RCGP, his role as RD, experience as an RD and many more topics. 

RCGP Round #1 in Manilla, Philippines is about 2 weeks away and will be free for everyone to watch and will be something never seen before in RC and if you was not excited you should be now.

This week on Episode #4 of The Starting Grid Lefty talks to HB Racing team drivers David "The Viking" Ronnefalk and Cole Ogden while they are in Spain practicing and getting ready for the first round of RCGP in Manila, Philippines in one month. They are both excited to be apart of the first ever World Series of RC racing and looking forward to the new revolutionary format of racing that will be broadcast world wide. The share thier thoughts on and expectations for round one as well as spending some time in the beautiful Philippines.

Lefty then has the  CommSportMX Scuderia Scampi Rosso Team Manager Beat Knutti. Beat explains to Lefty how a non RC industry funded team started and is now a part of RCGP. Talks about Swiss driver Patrick Hofer looks to improve by racing with some of the fastest racers on the planet. He talks about having current IFMAR WC Davide Ongaro on the team and goes on to explain how the unique team name came about.

Episode #3 of The Starting Grid the official podcast of the RCGP World Series is ready for download. This episode Lefty talks to RC Racing TV's Nick Daman about the exciting upcoming first round of RCGP in Philipines. Nick tells us about his background in RC and full scale productions, how he feels RCGP will change RC, why people should be excited and how this benefits everyone. He explains how making a viable product to help make RC racing more mainstream to help get new people involved  and how important the proper production of such an event is. Please enjoy the cast and share so more people can learn about Nick's role in this game changing concept that is RCGP.

Remember in less than 2 months the first round of RCGP will happen and there are still entries available in the RC2 class so if you are interested in visiting a new country, partaking in an awesome RC race and being apart rc history now is your chance. This is the first Episode of The Starting Grid - The Official Podcast of RCGP.
